Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• ASCP or AMT MT/MLS certification or discipline-specific certification; TN Supervisor License.
• Minimum 4 years healthcare/medical clinical laboratory technologist experience; blood bank experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative, technical, and educational functions, independently; apply clinical laboratory science principles.
• Supervise sectional personnel and students; provide instruction for personnel and medical technology students.
• Implement and assess the quality assurance program per regulatory agencies' requirements.
• Develop and maintain CAP-compliant operational plans for lab instruments and materials.
• Maintain current department policy and procedure including safety and infection control guidelines.
