Job summary

Continental Services Group Inc. is seeking a Blood Bank Laboratory Technologist (Per Diem) to join our team in a fast-paced, QA-driven environment.

You will perform blood typing, record results, and ensure traceability while handling multiple orders and samples across serology, chemistry, ABO/RH, and related areas. Applicants must hold a Medical Technologist license, have strong English skills (Spanish a plus), and demonstrate reliability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Medical Technologist License is required.
• Strong work ethic; supervisory skills are a plus.
• Prior laboratory experience and knowledge of good laboratory practices are beneficial.
• Written and spoken English required; Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Computer literacy including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood-typing and testing of samples.
• Record test results accurately in Continental's system.
• Ensure full traceability and recall through scanning and documenting records.
• Organize, process, and pack donation samples; handle multiple orders.
• Aliquot and sort various samples, units, and orders.
• Execute laboratory functions maintaining high quality standards.
• Conduct QC processes and follow SOPs.
• Participate in special projects.
• Create and check packing lists for accuracy.
• Collaborate with departments to streamline operations and results.
