Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Medical Technologist to perform diagnostic laboratory tests with independence and high precision. The role includes work across Chemistry, Hematology and Blood Bank, using microscopes, analyzers and computer systems.

The position emphasizes a broad skill set, rigorous quality care and adherence to our mission and equal opportunity principles. Per diem as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Biology/chemistry major or related mix with required certification training.
• Master’s or doctoral degree preferred for advanced roles.
• ASCP MT certifications (MT, MB, M, etc.) or equivalent.
• MT (HEW) or MT (AMT) certifications appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic laboratory tests across departments.
• Work as a Generalist in Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank.
• Use microscopes, analyzers and computer systems to deliver accurate results.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology

Baccalaureate degree with biology/chemistry or related mix

Master’s or doctorate in related field (preferred)

Technologist certification (ASCP) by Bachelor MT

MT (HEW) or MT (AMT) certification (optional)
