Job summary

Mamoru is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish local operations in Côte d’Ivoire, grow two-way FX and digital asset flows, and position the company as a cross-border payments and digital assets provider for WAEMU.

You will build a client network among banks, brokers, mobile money operators and corporates, manage regulatory engagement, and coordinate with global teams to align local activity with broader objectives. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record in meeting or exceeding sales/volume/revenue targets in FX, payments, banking or digital assets.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, FX, blockchain or fintech.
• Solid understanding of Côte d’Ivoire regulatory environment and WAEMU regulations.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and client relationship building.
• Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish Local Operations in Côte d’Ivoire and oversee registration and compliance tasks.
• Develop and grow two-way FX and digital asset flows (XOF/USD/EUR, stablecoins).
• Build a revenue-generating client pipeline across banks, corporates, fintechs and institutions.
• Position the business as a cross-border payments and digital assets solution for WAEMU.
• Cultivate partnerships with banks, brokers, mobile money operators, and ecosystem players.
• Coordinate with global teams on compliance, finance and operations.
