Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join our operations team. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines and robust node operations across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will automate deployment, manage blockchain nodes, and uphold security and performance across production environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven DevOps experience with infrastructure management and automation.
• Experience managing and deploying blockchain nodes and networks.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and CM tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and management of blockchain nodes (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger).
• Manage cloud infrastructure hosting blockchain nodes and services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for blockchain networks and infra.
• Ensure security of infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot infra issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts (Terraform, Ansible).
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking enterprise focused on blockchain integration, is looking for a skilled Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join their operational team in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA. This role requires managing and automating the infrastructure that supports our blockchain applications and networks. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our deployment pipelines, node operations, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in DevOps practices, combined with specific experience in managing blockchain nodes and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in streamlining our development-to-production workflows and maintaining a robust operational environment for our blockchain solutions.

Key Responsibilities
