Placements24 is seeking a Junior Blockchain Developer for an entry-level role in Paarl, Western Cape. You will assist in designing and implementing blockchain solutions, assist with smart contracts, and learn under senior developers in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Ideal candidates have a CS/Eng degree, basic programming, and strong curiosity about distributed ledger tech. You will gain hands-on experience writing secure code, testing, and collaborating with the team on innovative projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and data structures.
• A demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in smart contract languages like Solidity.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self‑motivated and proactive in learning new technologies.
