Job description

Company Description:

We’re a forward-thinking startup focused on creating atransparent, community-driven blockchain protocol designed to solve real-world problems. Our mission is to build a decentralized ecosystem that prioritizes fairness, security, and long-term value for users—not quick profits. We’re seeking a developer who shares our commitment to ethical innovation and wants to pioneer the next generation of blockchain infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and build a decentralized blockchain protocol from scratch, including consensus mechanisms (e.g., Proof-of-Stake, DAG), network architecture, and governance models.
  2. Develop and deploy native tokens or coins with fair tokenomics (e.g., equitable distribution, anti-whale mechanisms, locked liquidity).
  3. Ensure security-first practices: Conduct audits, implement cryptographic safeguards, and stress-test the network against exploits.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate decentralized applications (dApps) and developer tools into the ecosystem.
  5. Engage with the community: Document progress transparently, contribute to open-source repositories, and participate in AMAs/forums.
  6. Optimize for scalability, interoperability, and low transaction costs (e.g., Layer 2 solutions, sharding).
Requirements:

Experience:

  1. 3+ years in blockchain protocol development (not just smart contracts).
  2. Proficiency in Rust, Go, or C++ (critical for protocol-level coding).
  3. Familiarity with Solidity for EVM-compatible smart contracts.

Technical Skills:

  1. Deep understanding of consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer networking, and cryptography (e.g., zero-knowledge proofs).
  2. Experience with token standards (ERC-20, SPL) and cross-chain interoperability (IBC, bridges).
  3. Knowledge of DeFi primitives (staking, liquidity pools) and governance frameworks (DAOs).

Mindset:

  1. Passion for ethical Web3 practices (no pump-and-dump schemes, rug pulls, or misleading marketing).
  2. Commitment to open-source development and public accountability.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills to balance decentralization, security, and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Contributions to open-source blockchain projects (GitHub profile required).
  2. Experience with third-party audits (e.g., CertiK, Trail of Bits) and bug-bounty programs.
  3. Understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., Howey Test, MiCA) for token design.
  4. Familiarity with decentralized governance models (e.g., on-chain voting, token-curated registries).
Why Join Us?
  1. Build a blockchain from the ground up with a team that values transparency and innovation.
  2. Shape a protocol that prioritizes community ownership and avoids centralized control.
  3. Competitive salary + equity/token allocation (with fair vesting schedules).
  4. Work remotely with flexible hours, but a strong emphasis on collaboration and accountability.
How to Apply:

Submit your resume, GitHub profile, and a brief note explaining:

  1. Your vision for a fair and sustainable blockchain ecosystem.
  2. A technical challenge you faced in past blockchain projects and how you resolved it.
Key Ethical Guardrails (Publicly Stated):
  1. No anonymous team: Founders and developers will doxx themselves post-funding.
  2. Liquidity locks: All LP tokens will be locked via Unicrypt or Team Finance.
  3. Transparent roadmap: Milestones and budgets will be published openly.
