Job summary

ODC Construction, LLC is seeking a Block Laborer to assist in constructing and installing block walls on various construction sites in the field in Florida. The successful candidate will work with experienced crew members to ensure timely, safe completion and will be physically fit, dependable, and eager to learn masonry and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction and installation of block walls, including mortar mixing and laying blocks
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Set up and clean up work areas for a safe, organized site
• Maintain proper handling and storage of materials and tools
• Assist in measuring and marking areas for precise block placement
• Follow directions from the Block Crew Leader and supervisors
• Operate basic construction equipment as needed (mortar mixers, saws)
• Coordinate with crew members to maintain a steady workflow
• Follow safety protocols and regulations on the job site
• Assist with other labor duties, including carrying heavy materials and organizing supplies
• Ensure quality and attention to detail in all tasks
