Air Force Civilian Service in Dayton, OH seeks a Block 4 Systems Engineer (NH-0801-03) to support the F-35 modernization program. You will contribute to requirements decomposition, SE reviews, and integration across multiple teams and contractors. The position requires a technical degree and several years in aviation systems engineering and acquisition; U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Typically 4+ years in aviation systems engineering.
• Experience in an acquisition organization desired.

Responsabilités

• Provide general systems engineering oversight of F-35 capabilities from requirements through SETRs to verification and fielding.
• Aid in the creation of statements of work (SOW) for FoM capabilities and participate in technical evaluations of FoM contracts.
• Ensure integration across the F-35 Air System and confirm design meets specifications and key performance thresholds.
• Coordinate activities of Product Teams to resolve FoM design issues across the F‑35 program.
• Facilitate collaboration among IPTs, Directors, NAVAIR and AFLCMC to ensure integrated hardware and software systems meet customer expectations.
• Provide engineering leadership for early plans, process improvements and execution discipline to achieve FoM technical success.
