Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. in Brentwood, NY is seeking a Packaging Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair blister packaging machines, with a stable day shift and OT opportunities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints and manuals, and diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a cGMP/SOP regulated setting. Hours are 7:30am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri; overtime may be required. Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting/repairing blister packaging machines.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and related pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Experience with production machinery such as packaging machines, fillers, cappers, conveyors.
• Ability to read blueprints, plant layouts and equipment manuals.
• Experience diagnosing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Experience in a cGMP or SOP regulated environment.

• Must have at least 2 years of experience troubleshooting/repairing Blister packaging machines
• Ensures safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems equipment and components
• Assist with the completion of all required preventative and routine maintenance of equipment and machinery
• Experience with production machinery such as packaging machines, fillers, cappers, conveyors, belt bearings
• Ability to read blueprints, plant layouts and equipment manuals
• Ability to diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Experience working in a cGMp or SOP regulated environment
• Must be able to submit to a background and drug screen

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

Mon-Fri (Must be flexible for OT)

Pay rate: $22-28 per hour (based on experience)
