Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Blending Technician to execute daily blend requirements and produce syrup batches per production schedules, using water, sugar, and concentrate in line with quality specifications.

You will maintain blending equipment sanitation, receive concentrate and sugar shipments, calibrate lab instruments, and log results in the Lab Data Management System (LDMS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge from up to 12 months of work experience.
• Basic math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with HPLC and GC technologies (preferred).
• Basic Excel skills and computer literacy.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the delivery of the daily blend requirements according to production schedules; through the manufacturing of syrup batches from raw materials, including water, sugar, and concentrate; ensure adherence to the company quality assurance specification requirements
• Maintains blending equipment (mixes and syrup tanks) sanitation requirements to ensure system-wide conformance to quality and sanitation standards
• Carries out the receipt of concentrate and sugar shipments in the inventory management system
• Maintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
• Maintains testing, sanitation, and equipment calibration records and results and inputs concentrate and sugar receipts through data entry into the Lab Data Management System (LDMS)
