Job summary

Krier Foods, Inc. is seeking a full-time Blender Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Mon–Fri) at our Random Lake, WI plant. You will blend ingredients, operate mixing systems, and follow batch sheets with strict GMP and safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (science degree preferred), 1–2 years in manufacturing or QA in food/beverage, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Forklift certification and Food Safety training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in science or chemistry is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting; lab or quality control in Food and Beverage preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.
• Must comply with Quality Management System Policies and Food Safety Management.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Proficient in English; strong reading and comprehension.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to daily priorities.
• Strong sense of urgency and proactive problem solving.
• Basic math and conversions, metric to U.S. units.
• Proficiency in PLC operations.
• Forklift certification by Krier Foods before operating any company forklift.
• Must attain Food Safety Training (Qualified Individual).

Responsibilities

• Taste products and ensure allergen handling compliance.
• Operate blending equipment and manage batch sheets.
• Document batches, ingredients, and processing parameters.
• FEFO inventory management and communicate discrepancies.
• Prepare samples for lab analysis and conduct calibration.
• Assist with sanitation and housekeeping in blend and lab areas.
• Fills in on lines or projects as needed.
