Summary/Objective:
The Blending Technician mixes ingredients in equipment, ensuring correct ingredients and specifications. They will also support other manufacturing roles.

Essential Functions:

• Operate, clean, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, assemble, and set up equipment per SOPs
• Follow GMP practices to prevent contamination and ensure efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete blends
• Label and handle all production materials properly
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear
• Perform minor troubleshooting and report major repairs
• Maintain equipment parts and supplies
• Adjust equipment during manufacturing to meet batch specifications
• Document procedures and process data accurately
• Monitor equipment performance and perform in-process sampling
• Keep work area organized and clean
• Verify documentation accuracy
• Complete tasks related to manufacturing operations
• Adhere to company policies, cGMPs, and SOPs
• Cross-train in other roles to support production
• Follow production schedule

Physical Demands:

This role requires active physical movement, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting over 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in blending or food manufacturing preferred
• At least 1 year in GMP manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and HACCP preferred
