Position Summary:
The Blending Technician is responsible for mixing ingredients in equipment, ensuring correct ingredients and specifications. They will also support other manufacturing roles as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Operate, clean, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
• Assemble, disassemble, and set up equipment per SOPs
• Follow GMP practices to prevent contamination and ensure efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete blends
• Label and handle all production materials properly
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear
• Perform minor troubleshooting and report major repairs
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Adjust equipment during manufacturing to meet batch specifications
• Document procedures and process data accurately
• Monitor equipment performance for malfunctions
• Perform in-process sampling as instructed
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Verify documentation accuracy
• Complete tasks related to manufacturing operations
• Adhere to policies, cGMPs, and SOPs
• Cross-train in other roles to support production
• Follow production schedules

Physical Demands:

This role requires active movement including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Lifting items over 50 pounds is often necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Previous blending or food manufacturing experience preferred
• At least 1 year in GMP manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF principles, and HACCP preferred
