Position Summary

Blending Technicians batch products according to procedures and formulas, clean equipment, drive forklifts, maintain documentation, and ensure quality standards to keep production lines supplied.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Mix formulas as per procedures.
2. Follow instructions from blending leadership.
3. Clean and sanitize equipment.
4. Verify ingredients before batching.
5. Complete documentation such as Batch Sheets and Sanitation Schedules.
6. Maintain inventory traceability using Data Collection programs.
7. Log CIP operations.
8. Assist team members as needed.
9. Operate forklifts safely.
10. Maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
11. Participate in sanitation and quality audits.
12. Dispose of packaging materials properly.
13. Adjust ingredient kits for last-minute changes.
14. Weigh, label, and reseal partial ingredients.
15. Participate in batch approval and root cause analysis.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements: High School Diploma required; technical training or experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, work in wet/humid conditions, and adhere to safety protocols.

Work Environment

Exposure to humid, outdoor conditions, temperature extremes, chemicals, moving machinery, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
