Job summary

Raymond-Hadley Corp. is seeking a Junior Blending Associate to assist with safely blending pre-pulled raw materials for customers. You will follow food safety and safety procedures, operate under standard work, and support quality checks throughout the process.

You will also be trained to drive a forklift and handle labeling and storage of blended materials, while communicating via Redzone to multiple departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with handheld, touch screen reporting devices is desired.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with the company food safety program and all regulatory requirements for safe production of food.
• Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
• Drive a forklift and complete forklift training, following all safety procedures.
• Assist with ensuring correct mix ingredients, work order and quantities are present.
• Assist with quality checks on blending equipment for any damage prior to blending materials.
• Follow directions to ensure materials enter mixing equipment in the correct order and discharge into bulk sacks.
• Follow food safety and quality procedures on foreign material including visual checks of sifter/separators and any blend-specific instructions.
• Assist with completing all physical and digital quality checks and paperwork for blending materials.
• Label bulk sacks per lot number labeling requirements and prepare for storage/processing.
• Utilize Redzone to communicate blending quality checks with departments.
