Job summary

Kymera International is seeking a Blend Department Lead in North Carolina to oversee daily copper powder blending operations. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality while coordinating with QA, maintenance, and production planning to meet schedules and customer requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with lead/operator experience, ability to read batch records, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience; powder metallurgy or blending ops preferred.
• Lead/ supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read batch records and work instructions.
• Commitment to safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily blending operations to meet production schedules.
• Train and coach blending operators.
• Coordinate sampling and testing with QA.
• Ensure adherence to blend formulas and batch sheets.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance.
• Communicate status and priorities to supervision.
