Amalie Oil Company is seeking a Blending Machine Operator I for the First Shift in N. Charleston, SC. The role involves operating pumps and meters to achieve precise blends, loading and unloading railcars and trucks, and performing routine tank gauging and sampling to ensure product quality.

The position requires the ability to stand for long hours, work in a hot, oily environment, and handle 12-hour shifts with occasional weekends. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of blending processes and lubricants industry.
• Strong communication and dependable work ethic.
• Previous mechanical or blending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pump and metering system to achieve accurate blends per request.
• Load and offload railcars and trucks; gauge tanks; obtain samples.
• Choose tanks for blending using compatibility charts and tank capacities.
• Cross-train across departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
