Job summary

Mill Haven Foods in New Lisbon, WI is seeking a Blending Associate for 1st shift. You will blend and process ingredients, complete paperwork, and maintain sanitation of blending areas. You may also perform production and packaging tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, weighing ingredients, and monitoring equipment for safe operation. Minimum 1 year manufacturing or warehousing experience, dairy/food production preferred; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehousing experience required.
• Minimum one year of dairy and/or food production plant experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Add or mix ingredients for processing, using hands, tools, or other devices.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
• Compound or process ingredients, according to formulas.
• Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.
• Record operational or production data on specified forms.
• Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures.
• Tend to accessory equipment, such as pumps or conveyors, to move materials or ingredients through production processes.
• Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using moving equipment or hand tools.
• Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.
• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.

What this role is all about:

We are looking for aBlending Associateon 1st Shift in New Lisbon, WI.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM

The Blending Associate is responsible for accurate blending of product(s), accurate completion of all paperwork, sanitation of the blender, and blending area. This position also performs production and packaging job duties, as needed.
