Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate to support the blending and extrusion process in a manufacturing plant in the United States. The role involves operating a computerized blending network, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining accurate production records.

The position requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 86 pounds solo or up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Proficiency in basic math and record keeping is required.
Familiarity with computer automated environments is preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math as duties require.

Responsibilities

Load and blend raw materials into extrusion compounds using computerized monitoring.
Monitor and adjust blending network to meet defined standards and maximize production.
Move railcars to unloading sites and prepare/ document related paperwork.
Ensure all blend equipment and gauges are in proper working order and maintain clean work area.
Enter data for blend operations into BPCS and blend production spreadsheets.
Stage and stock micro-ingredients, restock hoppers and totes before shift end.
Operate forklift and perform safety inspections as required.
