Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services is seeking a Blender Operator to support plant operations in Earlville, IA. You will operate blending equipment and follow production instructions to ensure safe, accurate output of blended agricultural products.

Duties include loading materials, calibrating equipment, performing basic quality checks, recording batch data, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Schedule is 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; wage is $16/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow blend sheets or production schedules.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand and walk.
• 1–2 years of blending/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blending equipment to blend raw materials per instructions.
• Load and unload materials from trucks/railcars.
• Set up and calibrate blending equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks to meet specifications.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Record production data and batch results.

• Communicate production issues or material needs with supervision.

BLENDER OPERATOR

WAGE: $16/HOUR

HOURS: 9AM - 5PM MON - FRI

Position Summary

The Blender Operator is responsible for operating blending equipment and supporting plant operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate production of blended agricultural products (such as feed ingredients, oils, or other related products). The role involves closely following production instructions, maintaining equipment and work areas, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor blending equipment to combine raw materials into finished products according to production instructions and blend sheets.
2. Load and unload trucks/railcars with raw materials and finished products, as assigned.
3. Maintain proper setup and calibration of blending equipment.
4. Conduct routine quality checks to ensure blends meet specifications.
5. Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
6. Record production data, batch results, and required documentation.
7. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
8. Communicate with supervisors and team members about production issues or material needs

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
2. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work from blend sheets or production schedules.
3. Good communication and teamwork skills.
4. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 75lbs, standing, and walking.
5. 1–2 years of experience in blending, manufacturing, or production environments preferred.
6. Basic math and computer skills.
