Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a dedicated Blender to join our Sedalia, MO team. The role focuses on jet engine piece-part blending and repair to PROENERGY standards, under the guidance of the Repair Supervisor.

The position requires handling various tools and following detailed work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will join a growing Center of Excellence, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency, supporting aero derivative gas turbine components

Qualifications

• Experience blending aero derivative gas turbine parts.
• Experience blending auto body parts acceptable.
• Read, Write, and Speak fluent English.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment; no visa sponsorship.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Blend defects and restore areas on aero derivative gas turbine parts using pneumatic, electric and hand tools.
• Complete forms and follow established procedures for each work order.
• Perform blending, assembly/disassembly, honeycomb removal etc. on highly engineered products.
• Maintain and control equipment, tools, fixtures, and safety gear per shop orders.
• Read diagrams and specifications; follow detailed instructions under limited supervision.
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate as a cross-functional team member in gas turbine blending processes.

Position Summary

The Blender will be trained to perform jet engine piece part blending and repair to PROENERGY standards.

Reports To:Repair Supervisor

Work Location:2001 Proenergy Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301

Position Responsibilities

• Use pneumatic, electric and hand tools to blend defects, welded areas and restore areas back to original contours on various parts of an aero derivative gas turbine.
• Completes forms associated with work assignments according to established procedures.
• Performs blending for highly engineered products including but not limited to blending, assembly/disassembly, honeycomb removal, etc.
• Properly maintains and controls equipment, processes, tools, fixtures, supplies, and safety equipment associated with each specific shop order.
• Daily tasks will include loading and unloading of hardware and fixtures by hand, with a fork truck or other lifting devices/cranes.
• Meet or exceed core competency expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance/punctuality, and teamwork.
• Read and interpret diagrams and specifications.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and directions under limited supervision.
• Ensures safe working practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe clean work environment.
• Function as a cross-functional team member and demonstrates gas turbine blending process skills and knowledge through the process of gas turbine components and other hardware.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in blending aero derivative gas turbine parts is preferred.
• Experience in blending auto body parts is acceptable.
• Ability to Read, Write, and Speak in fluent English.
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
• Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
