Job summary

Axyde Analytics is seeking a senior development-finance specialist for contingent USTDA project-scoping and technical-assistance studies across infrastructure, energy, critical minerals, digital infrastructure, ports and aviation. The role involves identifying credible financing pathways and testing project bankability against DFI/ECAs and insurers.

Qualifications

15+ years in project finance, development finance, export credit, political-risk insurance, infrastructure investment or transaction advisory.
Direct experience with U.S. DFC, EXIM, multilateral development banks, bilateral DFIs/ECAs, MIGA or comparable institutions.
Demonstrated structuring of blended-finance, guarantees, insurance, debt/equity, grant/TA and risk-allocation mechanisms.
Ability to evaluate bankability, sponsor capacity, capital structure, covenant/security considerations, FX and sovereign/offtaker risks.
Experience translating technical and market findings into financing roadmaps, screening criteria, decision gates and actionable next steps.
Independence and OCI transparency where the candidate or employer could participate in financing or transaction execution.

Responsibilities

Scope contingent USTDA studies across infrastructure, energy, minerals, digital infra, ports and aviation.
Identify financing pathways and test project fit for development finance institutions and insurers.
Evaluate bankability, sponsor capacity, capital structure and risk allocations.
Translate findings into financing roadmaps, criteria and next steps.
