Job summary

210_Mohegan_Pocono Downs Racing, LP seeks a Maintenance Associate to upkeep racetrack facilities, perform routine repairs, painting and cleaning, and support guest services during events. Responsibilities include snow/ice removal, exterior grounds care, HVAC filter replacement, and reporting safety concerns.

A high school diploma or GED is required (or 1–3 months related experience). CDL may be required for vehicle duties; Teamsters Union membership after 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• CDL Required Positions involve driving water trucks or a spreader truck on our harness racing track in between races during live racing season (they do not leave the property). During the off season, it would require maintenance of the vehicles and snow removal on property, and other duties as assigned.


• Team members in these positions are required to join the Teamsters Union after 90 days of employment.
