Job description

Cheetah Chassis Corp located in Berwick is currently accepting applications for qualified BLASTERS capable and eager to work safely in our fast-paced manufacturing operation.

PAY

Cheetah has some of the best pay rates in the area! Qualified Blasters start at $20.75/hr.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time position responsible for prepping the trailer parts to be painted by clearing off impurities and rough welds while following safety and quality guidelines. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with possible overtime. This may include staying late, early starts (as early as 5:00 AM), or Friday overtime (typically no more than 8 hours, often ending by noon).

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and complete required checklists
• Inspect hoses, couplers, wires, nozzles, and floor grating for damage or safety concerns
• Clean equipment screens at the start of each shift
• Safely move chassis into the blasting area, working in coordination with team members
• Push and align chassis evenly onto rollers while maintaining awareness of pinch points
• Identify and mark beam lettering for visibility during grinding and prep work
• Grind twist locks and remove sharp edges as needed
• Assist with opening and closing blast doors on both weld and assembly sides
• Ensure all team members are wearing required PPE prior to blasting operations
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production guidelines
