Job summary

Contech in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Blaster Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will blast bridges inside a blast booth to remove mill scale and prep steel surfaces for painting, under supervision and with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include following schedules, maintaining equipment, inspecting finished work, and keeping the work area clean. The role requires focus, precision, and the ability to read project drawings.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pulmonary fit test.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read notes on drawings for project instructions.
