Job summary

Quick Supply Co. Explosives Services is seeking a Blaster to design, lay out, prepare and detonate blasts at client sites while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You may lead or assist in blasting operations and coordinate with site managers for optimal results. The role requires 4–5 years of blasting experience, a valid blasting license, ATF eligibility, and the ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of blasting experience in the explosives industry.
  • Current Blasting License.
  • Meet ATF eligibility requirements as an Employee Possessor.
  • Lead effectively and communicate professionally.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, blasting software, and equipment.
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physically strenuous work daily, including lifting 50+ pounds, pulling hoses, stooping, bending, climbing, and shoveling.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements to support site operations.
  • Availability to work long hours as needed to meet customer objectives.

  • Verify completion of pre‑blast inspections to ensure a safe blast area and successful detonation.
  • Detonate the blast when acting as blaster‑in‑charge.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including field blast reports and magazine inventory reports.
  • Communicate with site managers and customers regularly to develop strong partnerships.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to provide optimal blasting services and efficient site operations.
