Job Brief

As a member of our Blast Crew, you will operate auxiliary equipment and assist equipment operators in maintaining site equipment, loading, mixing, unloading, and preparing explosive products for customers.

Pay for this position starts at $19 per hour

What You'll Do

• Proactively manage risks and safety issues, practicing the Take 5! process.
• Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts, winches, and hand tools to support equipment operators, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality service.
• Complete and report pre- and post-use reports for all equipment operated.
• Report required maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast sites to serve customers safely.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, during equipment operation, and at blast sites.
• Maintain safe working procedures at dispatched sites.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors.
• Support policies that improve blasting service quality and limit liability.
• Familiarize and comply with HSE Management System, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
• Participate in safety training and meetings to support safety programs.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work early mornings and 10-12 hour shifts.
• Good work habits; prior manual labor experience preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to undergo and pass an ATF background check.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, team player.
