As a member of our Blast Crew, you will operate auxiliary equipment and assist equipment operators in maintaining site equipment, as well as loading, mixing, unloading, and preparing explosive products for customers.

Pay for this position starts at $19 per hour

What You'll Do

As a member of our Blast Crew, you will operate auxiliary equipment and assist equipment operators in maintaining all site equipment, as well as loading, mixing, unloading, and preparing explosive products for customers. You will report as a Blast Crew Helper to the Blaster in Charge when dispatched to a customer site. Other duties include:

• Proactively manage risks and safety issues, practicing the Take 5! process.
• Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts, winches, and hand tools to support equipment operators, providing timely, safe, and high-quality service to the customer.
• Complete and report pre- and post-use reports for all operated equipment.
• Report required maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast sites to serve customers safely.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions on-site, during equipment operation, and at blast sites to protect personal and team safety.
• Maintain safe working procedures at all dispatched sites.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisors.
• Support policies that improve blasting service quality and limit liability exposure.
• Familiarize and comply with the HSE Management System, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
• Participate in safety training and meetings to support safety programs.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work early mornings and 10-12 hour shifts.
• Good work habits; prior manual labor experience preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects flexibly.
• Willingness to undergo and pass an ATF background check for explosives possession.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team spirit.
