Blaine Brothers is seeking a Refrigeration Trailer Technician for the Trailer Service Shop on 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm) in Blaine, MN. The role handles complete repair and maintenance of refrigerated trailers and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background in heavy duty trucking or similar field.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Proven hands-on experience with maintenance and repair of trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration units for trailers.
• Repair reefer units including freon leaks, electrical issues and engine work.
• Test lines and components using electrical/mechanical/pneumatic tools.
• Read and interpret complex schematics for refrigeration equipment.
• Clean and wash units with a power washer; maintain safe workspace.
• Follow safety policies and ensure a clean, efficient environment.

We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Blaine MN. Blaine Brothers is looking for a 1st shift Refrigeration Trailer Technician for the Trailer Service Shop. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude; detail oriented; willing to jump in and help out where needed; and a strong work ethic. This position handles the complete repair and general maintenance of refrigerated semi-trailers, as well as, all other styles and sizes of trailers.

SCHEDULE:

1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7am- 4pm

Requirements

The Essential Duties Include:

• Perform all levels of maintenance and repair services on various brands of refrigeration units.
• Perform minor and major repairs on reefer units including freon leaks, electrical issues, engine repairs and rebuilds, etc.
• Be able to test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
• Read complex schematics associated with the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Cleans and washes units using a power washer.
• Work safely following Safety Policies and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Mechanical background in heavy duty trucking industry or similar field with diesel engine repair experience.
• Ability to learn to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Customer Service driven.
• Valid Driver’s License & a satisfactory MVR
