Overview

Blaine Brothers is a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Blaine, MN. We have an opening for a Trailer Technician for our Mobile Service Trucks. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, willing to jump in and help out where needed, and a strong work ethic. This position handles the complete repair and general maintenance of semi-trailers, as well as all other styles and sizes of trailers. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule: 3rd Shift Monday-Friday 10pm-6am (10% shift differential applies)

Wage: $27- $38/hr (varies based on skillset and experience)

Responsibilities

• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
• Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild
• Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
• Welding experience a plus
• Basic tool set and toolbox to start (assistance programs available)
