Sunland Asphalt is seeking a Blade Operator in Phoenix, AZ to perform a variety of physical tasks, including operating heavy equipment and using power tools for applying asphalt products, under the Foreman and Production Manager to meet production goals. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable communication with paver operators and drivers.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 6–12 months of related experience; a CDL may be required for some departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including Cat equipment.
• Follow Foreman’s schedule and safety policies.
• Maintain, inspect, and report equipment issues.
• Coordinate with crew, drivers, and subcontractors.
• Keep job site clean and ensure safety meetings attendance.
• Set up/tear down equipment and transport as needed.
