Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is hiring for Part-Time and Full-Time Blackjack Dealer roles through our Dealer School Hiring Event in Maryland Heights.

Trainees start with $15.00 per hour during training, with potential to earn up to $28.00 per hour once on the floor, plus benefits from day one. You'll learn Blackjack fundamentals, complete two weeks of training, audition for casino floor placement, and, if successful, begin dealing shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and eligible for a valid gaming license.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong customer service and guest interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend two weeks of Blackjack School and pass audition to join casino floor.
• Deal when assigned and maintain guest-friendly service.
• Follow game procedures and protect company assets.

Dealer School Hiring Event

Date & Time: November 3rd, 2026 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Location: Final Cut Smokehouse | 777 Casino Center Drive, Maryland Heights, MO, 63043

• EARN UP TO $28.00 PER HOUR*
• the position average is based on a tip pool evenly distributed amongst each dealer each pay period.

Training Overview (Training Pay: $15.00 per hour)

All candidates will complete:

• Two weeks of hands-on training focused on Blackjack fundamentals
• Audition required at the end of Week 2 to qualify for casino floor placement

Opportunities Available During Event

Part-Time Blackjack Dealer Path

• Attend two weeks of Blackjack School
• Pass audition to be released to the casino floor
• Begin dealing shifts as a Part-Time Dealer

Full-Time Dealer / Supervisor (Dual Rate) Path

• Attend two weeks of Blackjack School
• Pass audition to be released to the casino floor
• Begin a Dual (Dealer/Supervisor) Role during the first 90 days:
• Deal 4 days/week
• Supervise 1 day/week
• Receive ongoing shadowing and mentorship as you transition into leadership

Shift: Late Evening / Overnights

As a Blackjack Dealer School Candidate, you will take part in a structured training program designed to teach you the skills needed to become a successful Table Games Dealer. During dealer school, you will:

• Learn the rules, procedures, and variations of Blackjack and other table games.
• Develop skills in handling cards, chips, and cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Understand game security and how to protect company assets while ensuring fair play.
• Practice delivering excellent guest service by engaging with players in a courteous and professional manner.
• Gain knowledge of company policies, departmental procedures, and state gaming regulations.

This program is designed to prepare you for success as a Table Games Dealer, providing hands‑on training, guidance, and support every step of the way.
