Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Black Seal Boiler Operator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of low-pressure boilers and related mechanical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining low-pressure boiler systems and auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conducting regular inspections and tests of boiler systems to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines related to boiler operation and safety.
• Monitoring boiler systems and related equipment for any abnormalities or deviations, and taking corrective action as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of boiler operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of boiler systems and related equipment.
• Providing technical guidance and training to less experienced team members as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a boiler technician or in a similar role.
• A valid Black Seal Boiler Operator's License.
• Extensive knowledge of low-pressure boiler systems and related mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain boiler systems in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair boiler systems and related equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of all applicable regulations and guidelines related to boiler operation and safety.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in the use of computer systems for record keeping and reporting.
