Job summary

The Bistro at Pomegranate Market in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking an experienced kitchen and front counter clerk who loves food, embraces clean eating, and works well in a customer‑service setting. This is a full‑time role with shifts that vary Monday through Saturday from 7:30am to 8:30pm and Sundays from 10am to 6pm.

Starting pay depends on experience, with a 90‑day introductory period, casual dress code, a relaxed work environment, health and dental insurance, and an employee discount.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and front counter roles.
• Ability to follow recipes to prepare salads, sandwiches, soups and other dishes.
• Prepare fresh smoothies, juices, brew coffee and tea.
• Clear tables, clean dining area, replenish supplies.
• Wash dishes, clean counters, prep tables, salad bar and steam table.
• Operate juicers, knives, ovens, mixers, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
• Ensure recipes are followed and that the quality of our products are consistent.
• Communicate with customers and team members in English.

The Bistro at Pomegranate Market is looking for an experienced kitchen and front counter clerk. Applicants must share a love for food, a passion for clean eating, be self motivated, and work well in a customer service atmosphere. This is a full-time position and shifts may vary Monday through Saturday between 7:30am - 8:30 pm , and Sundays 10am - 6pm. ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Job Requirements:

• Taking customer orders and delivering food to customers
• Ability to follow recipes to prepare salads, sandwiches, soups and other dishes
• Prepare fresh smoothies, juices, brew coffee and tea
• Clearing tables, cleaning dining area and replenishing supplies
• Washing dishes, cleaning counters, prep tables, salad bar and steam table
• Operating juicers, knives, ovens, mixers, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment in a safe manner
• Ensuring recipes are followed and that the quality of our products are consistent
• Communicating with customers and team members in English
• Use of hands/fingers to prepare, package and serve food and beverages
• Ability to push/pull carts of up to 50# and lifting & carrying up to 25#
• Standing for long periods of time
• Bending and reaching to fill/organize products
• Operating cash register and food scale
