Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support meal service and daily operations in our community dining programs. You will help prepare meals, assist in serving, and ensure clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

The role emphasizes adherence to nutrition standards, food safety, and resident-centered service. Prior alcohol service experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided; flexible shifts and weekend work may be required in

Qualifications

• Food service experience is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience serving alcohol is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering food to designated areas, and works in serveries.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Maintains clean, sanitary, and safe work areas and equipment; assists in cleaning duties as directed.
• Assists in executing special events and participating in their planning and preparation.
• Distributes, collects, and counts menus as necessary.
• Maintains quality assurance, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Attends meetings and trainings; responds to residents and staff needs.
• Keeps accurate records through computers and/or documentation.
