Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Bistro Server to provide courteous food and beverage service to guests at our restaurant. You will set up service areas, take orders, handle payments, and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen. The role requires adherence to safety standards and EarthView sustainability guidelines.

Previous food and beverage experience is preferred, with a High School diploma or equivalent. Work hours vary and may include holidays and weekends; standing and lifting up to 25 pounds are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Set up necessary supplies and maintain a stocked work area.
• Take orders from customers, input orders, obtain payment and provide change.
• Communicate dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen.
• Prepare food, coffee and beverages, including alcohol when necessary.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food, when necessary.
• Perform other food and beverage functions such as bartending and bussing during peak periods.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank per policies.
• Clean all equipment and areas, lock equipment doors.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and practices.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective gear and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
