Job summary

Island Hospitality Management's Bistro is seeking a part-time Bistro Server to be a friendly reference for guests while preparing and serving made-to-order food and beverages.

You will take orders, deliver food, keep the service area stocked, and help ensure a top-notch dining experience from start to finish. Flexibility in scheduling is often required to match guest occupancy and seasonal needs.

• Approachable for all guests while delivering excellent guest service.

Our team is now seeking an adaptive team player to work in our Bistro! As a Part-Time Bistro Server, you will be a key reference for guests while preparing and serving made-to-order food and beverage products.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Taking guests' orders, cooking, and delivering food
• Ensuring a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end
• Receiving food and beverage orders and ensuring the bistro service space remains well-stocked at all times
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service

Job Qualifications:

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
• Ability to help validate customers' IDs and monitor all beverage consumption

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
