MHG Hotels LLC is seeking a friendly Bistro/Bartender Attendant to welcome guests and provide attentive service in a seasonally inspired Bistro setting. You will be responsible for preparing food, serving drinks, and keeping the Bistro and kitchen clean and organized throughout shifts.

• Previous bartending experience is a plus.
• Customer service and cash handling skills are important.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care and warmth.
• Deliver highly attentive service to guests.
• Engage in polite conversation and provide menu knowledge.
• Be fully informed of the Bistro menu.
• Prepare food for same day and upcoming days.
• Set up Bistro for the shift (AM/PM).
• Monitor inventory and communicate orders with the manager.
• Cook and serve food and drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Bistro and kitchen.
• Process all payment methods and handle cash per policy.
• Follow cash handling procedures for opening/closing shifts.
• Clean up after shifts and prep for the next shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment around the Bistro and kitchen.
• Ensure equipment is clean and fully functional.
• Diffuse difficult situations when needed and comply with liquor laws.

As a Bistro/Bartender, you will:

• Maintain clean safe environment both in Bistro and in kitchen
• Ensure the Bistro and its equipment are clean and fully functional
• Occasionally diffuse difficult situations
• Comply will all liquor laws

To be a successful Bistro/Bartender Attendant, this role requires:

• A professional demeanor, a warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily and actively connect with others is required.
• Must be genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Previous bartending experience is a big plus.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

The Bistro/Bartender Attendant role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shift. Professional appearance and clean uniform. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 30 pounds without assistance.
