The Bistro Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage functions of the hotel in coordination with the Food and Beverage Manager and Events Manager. They serve as the link between guests, caterers, food vendors, and the sales department.
Essential Functions:
- Client / Guest Service
- Maintain guest service as the primary focus of the hotel.
- Demonstrate commitment to guest satisfaction by responding promptly to client/guest needs.
- Ensure all guests are 100% satisfied.
- Address guest complaints related to food & beverage in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper delivery of meeting room special requests.
- Create and update weekly schedules for Bistro staff with approval from F&B Manager.
- Cover shifts as a Bistro Host during busy times, illnesses, or vacations.
- Assist in purchasing food items and supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Confirm orders and shipments, ensuring proper storage upon receipt.
- Shop for miscellaneous food items and supplies locally when needed.
- Review guest feedback and comment cards; implement improvements.
- Supervise and evaluate Bistro staff with assistance from the F&B and Events Managers.
- Assist with banquet and meeting coordination, including setup and service.
- Greet and coordinate with meeting room guests, ensuring all arrangements are complete.
- Assist in menu production and monitor service levels.
- Follow up with clients to ensure service delivery.
- Help establish banquet policies based on market conditions.
- Create meeting room setup sheets and coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping.
- Verify meeting room setup and requirements upon client arrival.
Human Resources
- Promote a positive, cooperative work environment.

- Maintain staff motivation through incentive programs developed with management.
- Ensure effective communication across departments.
- Assist in hiring, training, and disciplining staff.
- Ensure all staff have necessary certifications, such as food handler permits.
- Conduct staff performance reviews with management.

- Assist in identifying and correcting safety hazards and security issues.
- Follow policies for key control and security protocols.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
