Qualifications

• Two years food and beverage supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino with a focus on guest service.
• Open and close the restaurant and lounge.
• Interview, hire, and train new Team Members and audit training standards.
• Schedule shifts and assign duties to Team Members.
• Resolve Guest complaints professionally.
• Conduct month-end inventory.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed in all areas.
• Manage inventory and order food, beverages, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure Team Members meet Graton's Guest Service Standards.
• Coordinate communication between front of house and back of house.
• Conduct team huddles for updates on events, HR announcements, and specials.
• Evaluate team performance and hold staff accountable.

Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

1. 1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. 2. Execute all Food Operations Department responsibilities by enforcing Graton Resort & Casino's policies and procedures fairly among all Team Members and in accordance with company's negotiated union contract.
3. 3. Open and close the restaurant and lounge.
4. 4. Interview, hire, and train new Team Members and effectively audit to ensure training standards are satisfied.
5. 5. Schedule shifts and assign duties to Team Members.
6. 6. Resolve Guest complaints in a professional manner.
7. 7. Conduct month-end inventory.
8. 8. Ensure restaurant and lounge adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
9. 9. Manage the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment and supplies.
10. 10. Ensure Team Members are exceeding Graton's Guest Service Standards.
11. 11. Coordinate communication between front of house and back of house.
12. 12. Conduct team huddles to pass along important information regarding property events, HR announcements, and restaurant specials.
13. 13. Evaluate and oversee job performance of all Team Members. Hold individual subordinates accountable for performance of job duties, tasks, policies and procedures.
14. 14. Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

1. 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. 2. Two (2) years food and beverage supervisory experience.
3. 3. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
4. 4. Ability to handle a flexible schedule to work weekends, holidays and all shifts.
5. 5. Ability to delegate, empower, and evaluate hourly Team Members to achieve desired objectives with minimal supervision.
6. 6. Sound judgment in all decision-making ability, even when dealing with difficult situations where guests, team members and the overall long-term profitability are not adversely impacted.
7. 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick judgment decisions.
8. 8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
9. 9. Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission.
10. 10. Possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
