Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current.
• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current.
• Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate within 12 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred.
• STABLE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice and family teaching.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and ensure safety for newborns and mothers in antepartum and postpartum.
