Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our acute-care team in Connecticut. Under Nursing Leadership, you will develop care plans for complex patients and deliver evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in the Nurse Residency program for new grads, pursue ongoing professional development, and provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a demanding but supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
• Registered Nurse, State of CT.
• Certified BLS Provider from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced patient populations.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care according to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
• Possess the ability to act as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.
• Demonstrate strong communication and care coordination.
