Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut offers in-home developmental therapy for children aged birth to three, evaluating skills and implementing tailored interventions. Therapists work within a multidisciplinary team to support families and children in learning and growth.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and CT teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education, with other CT Birth to Three credentials considered for DSP roles. Travel within designated region may be required.

Qualifications

• Infant, Toddler, Family Specialist Credential from the Connecticut Birth to Three System with endorsement #123 can be considered for a Developmental Therapy Specialist (DSP)

Certified Early Childhood Special Education Educator/Developmental Therapist

Job Description

Our Developmental Therapists provide in-home services for children between the ages of birth to three. At the outset, they assist in evaluating a child's skills across a variety of developmental domains and then use this information to develop and implement interventions. Developmental Therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support families and children as they learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Current CT teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education required (#112, #113, #065, #165, #265, #055, #059, #057)
