Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut in Easton is hiring a Birth to Three Developmental Therapist to provide in-home supports for children from birth to three. You will evaluate a child's skills across developmental domains and design and implement interventions, working within a multidisciplinary team to support families and children as they learn and grow.

Requires Bachelor's Degree and CT early childhood special education certification; travel within the designated region; weekly virtual team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Current CT teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education required (#112, #113, #065, #165, #265, #055, #059, #057).
• Candidates with an Infant, Toddler, Family Specialist Credential from the Connecticut Birth to Three System with endorsement #123 can be considered for a Developmental Therapy Specialist (DSP).

Our Developmental Therapists provide in-home services for children between the ages of birth to three. At the outset, they assist in evaluating a child's skills across a variety of developmental domains and then use this information to develop and implement interventions. Developmental Therapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support families and children as they learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
