Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–2 years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program, or New grad with senior practicum in L&D/Mother/Baby.
• WA RN license on hire; CPR on hire; NRP within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medications per orders and hospital policy.
• Assesses patients across physical, psychosocial, cultural, developmental, and spiritual needs; plans and evaluates care.
• Documents care using the nursing process and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Supports discharge planning and coordinates post-discharge needs.
