Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia seeks a Manager for the Family Birth Center to provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership across Labor & Delivery, OB ED, OB OR/Recovery, and Postpartum.

You will oversee daily operations, staffing, patient flow, and resource management to support 2,000–2,100 deliveries annually. The role requires a BSN (or current enrollment), WA RN license, and BLS; preferred candidates may hold a master's degree and have leadership experience in perinatal care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or current enrollment in a BSN program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• At least 3 years acute care experience within the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, staffing, patient flow, and resource management across all FBC areas.
• Lead a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
• Partner with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage staff performance, engagement, recruitment, and development.
• Drive quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and service line improvement initiatives.
• Support budget, productivity, and operational efficiency goals.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or current enrollment in BSN program
