Job summary

Phoenixville Area Children's Learning Center is launching an Early Head Start program at our newest location this fall, and we are seeking a compassionate Early Head Start Teacher to join our team.

You will create nurturing relationships with infants and toddlers, plan play-based learning experiences, and partner with families while upholding licensing and Early Head Start standards to support developmental milestones.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in an early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of infant and toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• PA clearances and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• A warm, dependable educator who is passionate about helping children and families thrive.

Responsibilities

• Create nurturing, responsive relationships with infants, toddlers, and families.
• Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
• Provide high-quality daily care while supporting each child's developmental milestones.
• Observe children's progress and individualize learning experiences.
• Partner with families through open communication and collaboration.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom that meets licensing and Early Head Start standards.
