Birchwood Arbors, a Lifespark Assisted Living Community, is seeking a Director of Health Services, RN to join our team in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr. We have been supporting seniors in aging magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit.

Schedule & Compensation

1. Schedule: Monday - Friday, with Weekend Manager on Duty rotation required.
2. Wage: $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience, plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus.

Position Overview

Your responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing nursing staff to ensure quality resident care that meets company and regulatory standards.
2. Monitoring and evaluating nursing care through rounds.
3. Managing documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
4. Participating in hiring, training, and retaining qualified nursing staff.
5. Developing staffing plans that meet resident needs.
6. Building relationships with residents' families, staff, and external partners.
7. Assessing residents' needs and managing compliance with survey processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in long-term or acute care preferred.
• Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is a plus.
• Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Advanced computer skills.
