Birchwood Arbors, a Lifespark Assisted Living Community, is seeking a Director of Health Services, RN, to join our team in Forest Lake, near North Shore Dr and Forest Lake. We have been supporting seniors in aging magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekend Manager on Duty Rotation Required

Wage: $85,000 - $115,000 annually, based on experience, plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee nursing staff to ensure quality resident care that meets or exceeds standards.
2. Conduct rounds to monitor and evaluate nursing care quality.
3. Manage documentation and charting of care, medications, and treatments.
4. Assist with hiring, orientation, training, and retention of nursing staff.
5. Develop and implement staffing plans reflecting resident needs.
6. Collaborate with the Executive Director to build relationships with residents, families, and care providers.
7. Assess residents to ensure appropriate care levels.
8. Manage clinical aspects of state and federal survey processes.

Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an accredited nursing school and valid RN licensure.
2. At least two years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care preferred.
3. Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
4. Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and staff.
5. Advanced computer skills.
